Your first visit to Dr. Skiba and his staff at their dental office in Walnut Creek involves a few special steps so that we can get to know you. Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take digital x-rays( which dramatically reduce the radiation exposure compared to x-ray films ), and which may include a panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as individual x-rays for proper diagnosis of all the teeth.
